I’m a firm believer in craftsmanship, so when I began my career in the New Zealand building industry I knew it wouldn’t be long before I wanted to raise the standards I was being trained to maintain.
I had a passion for architecturally designed homes, superior quality and protecting our unique environment, spending my spare hours buried in the evolution of passive house principles, new construction methods, the latest technology and sustainable materials.
Today, YBL is the result of years of research, training, hand-picked experts and hands-on experience, with a vision to help our wonderful region craft homes well above our building code. As proud members of the NZGBC, we are forever upgrading our knowledge and offer clients their very own ‘Homestar’ rating and a ten-year RMB Guarantee.
A significant part of this is collaborating closely with renowned architects from the get-go, offering our on the job knowledge and working together to craft a seamless building journey and superior result.
As I continue to keep up with the forever-evolving world of energy efficient technology and techniques, the YBL difference remains the same; relationships. We are a team of passionate, highly skilled specialists with an emphasis on open communication and a dedication to quality.
